Sherry stood in front of the mirror studying herself. She looked perfect. Mentally she felt exhausted.
It had been 6 months since China, six months since she'd escaped from the clutches of Neo-Umbrella, 6 months since she'd seen Jake Muller, the man she'd gone to find in the hopes of saving the world.
The nightmares had started when she'd returned home alone. Flashes of them running away from B.O.W.'s, escaping and then being caught and he wasn't there with her anymore. Or it was him being killed and there was nothing she could do to stop it. Of him abandoning her as she was sliced open.
That one was the worst of all.
She sighed and picked up

His face stared back him. Identical, in every way except for the malice and contempt. It was him should he ever join the Dark Side. The Dark Clone was his opposite…he pointed at Starkiller.
"I'm coming for you."

Red's salvation came wrapped in the most unremarkable package.
Red wasn't his real name. But he'd gone by it for so long that he no longer answered to anything else. He vaguely remembered his life before Helion. It was like a dream that could never have happened.
The loud clanking startled Red into awareness. He'd been laying back watching the sun trying to figure out the best way to escape when the large mechanical doors began to swing open.
They opened wide enough to admit a small woman, red haired, the pale skin of a spacer, she jerked her arm out of the hands of a gray uniformed guard and he roughly shoved her
